Farah Jouffroy, a 46-year-old from Franche-Comté, living in Haut-Doubs, has twice participated in the Summits of Hope adventure. After Chamonix, in 2021, she climbed Huayna Potosi – 6,000 meters above sea level – in Bolivia. After battling highly aggressive breast cancer for 18 months, the forty-year-old now says she feels "grounded, strong, nourished, loved, full of gratitude, and alive" thanks to this summit expedition.

In Farah Jouffroy's life, there truly was a "before" and an "after." The period before December 2016, when, at the age of 38, she discovered a lump on her right breast, which turned out to be the manifestation of a very aggressive cancer. And the "after," a larger, longer period, which included a long, year-and-a-half-long battle and a phase of reconstruction....
